The problems with the construction of the Citicorp Center, revealed by its designer LeMessurier presents an example of a situation that could have resulted in a disaster, but was prevented by the actions of various stakeholders. In this CBE, students are asked to analyse relevant stakeholders in terms of their passive and active responsibility and also in terms of the distribution of responsibility. Results and conclusions will be presented in written, short essay style, form.
